Congrats on the 107.9 TMB, it's great to see a Silvia at the top of the Natsoft list.

Looking foward to seeing the car progress and the times dive further.

Its about time I updated this thread.

I've added a few more things in the last month or so.

1. I got my own seat and gave Daves back. Its a buddy club fixed back on custom rail. I also fitted a race harness and fire extinguisher.

Image

2. I got jealous of Dave having new tyres so I went and bought some too

Toyo R888 235/45/17 front and 255/40/17 rear on Buddy Club P1 17x9 +27 all round

Image

3. Got me some shiny pulleys for the alternator, water pump and PS pump. Also bought an undersized GFB crank pulley to slow everything down a bit.

Image

5. Got a HKS oil cooler kit with thermostat and remote filter thingy

Image

4. Bought a greddy copy sump. That will be fitted tomorrow hopefully

I've had greddy copy sumps in the past and they were rubbish. The little chappies in china have got their act together recently it seems as this sump is as good as the genuine greddy sump I have on the sil80. I hope it fits properly though

Image

5. Spent alot of time today removing and fixing up horrible wiring and dodgy workmanship performed by an apparently 'legend' mechanic that the previous owner was silly enough to use. Some of the stuff was disgraceful. Relocated the battery to inside the cabin, and moving a couple of other things around in the engine bay to give more room.

you know oil coolers are supposed to mount with the pipes at the top so the air can get out :)
