Nah, the sil80 got used for a couple of sessions during the middle of the day as the nugget was dumping oil into the intake pipes. The 8's were done in that

I think tmb did a low 9 in the nugget about 3rd lap out.

then the unique autosports 300z oiled the whole track. I got a clean run later in the day and did a 9.9 being pretty soft through the kink and into the fish hook.

tmb rounded it out with a 9.3 in the time attack.

I got 2 warm up laps in the first session of the day, then one hot lap which was a 1:09.22, then the 300zx oiled the track which made the track useless.

I guess it isn't a bad time for my very first hot lap in that car.

Next session out and the track was still covered in woodflour so was slippery as hell. No decent times were done then.

Then we decided to rest the silvia as it was a bit broken and took the sil80 out. I did the 1:08.x's in that car. Then it broke

My sil80 times were enough to qualify for the time-attack, but the sil80 was broken so I had to take the silvia out.

The damn tyres on the silvia takes 2 laps to warm up but on the timeattack I only get one warm up lap and had to do my timed lap on not-heated tyres. I managed a 1:09.3.

Now I have to fix both s13's before the next track day

Turbo to manifold gasket blew out in the sil80

The silvia currently has an issue with filling the intercooler with oil and blowing oil out the BOV.
I'm suspecting this is because the turbo oil feed is lacking a restrictor

Nice build up and impressive times! :)

I had a similar issue with oil filling my intercooler piping after upgrading to 2871R - fixed with a cusco catch can but i didn't plumb it back into the intake pipe.

Sorry to hear. Shame you couldn't get more laps in. 1:09.22 is good for a first time out considering.

How did the car feel - anything you want to do or change as a result?

There were some pretty quick cars there!

The car felt fine. I was being a bit soft until I knew how the car was going to behave.
At the moment i have no intention of changing anything other than the engine issues. The handling and stuff seems good.

awesome results for it's second time out mate!

just goes to show that enormous power isn't what give you good times at wakefield.
