Post subject:  Members Stats for Advertisers - Need your help! - Question 1

Hi Members,

You may have recently noticed a new advertiser on SilviaNSW, Auto Obsession, this is part of a new partnership with an Avertising Agency (specific to car related forums) with the plan for many more advertisers in the near future to help fund the forums.

In order to get more advertisers signed up in a short period of time we need to provide some useful statistics on our members back to the Advertising Agency.

As such we have put together this little poll of 4 questions for you to assist.

We appreciate your help and keeping the forums alive by answering these few small questions.

Regards,
SilviaNSW Team

Hi All,

Sorry to mass mail everyone, but we need to receive a large number of responses in a short period of time.

Just sent a Mass Email out to all Forum Members tonight.

Thanks to everyone that has responded so far.

The prize..... drum roll..... the prolonged running of the club and forums... unfortunately this place doesn't pay for itself and due to a slow down in the number of donations we must look more towards advertising and sponsorship to pay the bills.

Hopefully some more events will be on the horizon in the near future.

Cheers,
SilviaNSW Team

i didnt get an email either.

would anyone consider a fund raising event? for instance a skid pan day or track day, e.g it might cost $180 per person, but put it up to $190 or $200, with profits going to running costs for Silviansw.

and also instead of the free bbq lunch and drinks that is usually put on, maybe charge $1 or $2?

id be up for it :)

sure why not, if I can make it. What sort of day? Since I've never had a formal day of training in me life, I wouldn't mind a bit of instruction. Is that what the skid pan days are all about, or is it just "your 10 minutes starts NOW" sort of thing? I guess just cutting loose and getting stupid is a really quick way to learn those things you can't really try when there's kerbs and poles around...

skid pan days are to have fun, and also learn to control your car better. and also do skidz :D . getting stupid is not really a good idea as you might end up damaging your car, or someone else's.

there are usually 2 groups, beginners and advanced. with various exercises throughout the day.
