So now ive done my own softmod, and a few friends ones without a hitch. Im thinking of offering this service to people on here....... Basically you can boot backups from the disc channel, both Wii and GC games. play other regions etc etc. its not a chip, its modified firmware, so doesnt need to have the console opened up. thus retaining your warranty. if anyones interested, ill offer my services for a small cost...... |

most people are charging $50-$75 so lets say ill do it for $40. but remember this is a softmod, there is NO hardware involved, but it does open up the Wii to many more possibilities than its factory limits. |

ahhh no, the twilight hack allows you to run the homebrew channel is all. ill do everything to run wii backups, and gamecube backups right from the disc channel. |

scuse me for not being all IT Tech...but by boot backups do you mean you can run burnt games with this mod...? we were going to go get it done in the city but he charges 70 bucks so if you can do that for 40 then ill come rape you for it ....by rape i mean see

thats exactly what i mean. essentially its a downgrade to 3.2E. but contains the wii shop and those other channels etc can even run connect24, but you MUST NOT UPGRADE to 3.4. that will undo all my hard work lol and sam, the reason why im offering this is because some people arent comfortable with flashing firmware - take the amount of PSP bricks that occurred - and also may not have the knowledge to do it. and because ive already done a few of them, my own included, i already know if/when problems occurr and how to fix them! |

depending on what firmware you already have on it, could take from 45mins to 3 hrs lol as for when? over the weekend i guess. the only thing i change is the wifi settings and i need to connect it to the internet to download a few necessary files. |
