I can definitely recommend Quantronics in the city: http://www.quantronics.com.au/

I have had them mod about 6 Wii's.

They are reasonably priced, quick and good work.

I bought my JDM (the menus are in japanese but most the games in english) Wii modded all ready, I have about 40 games if you want to copy any (also have some doubles you can have) The only problem with a modded Wii is some of the games that need a Firmware update to work can stop you Wii from working 9with the chip) or will stop the chip from working.

There is a lot of info on some of the Wii fourms.

The newer chips for the Wii need to be firmware flashed by a USB controller, these are the Argon chips etc.

Mine is an older Wii and uses the WiiKey which I have firmware updated via DVD (download the ISO, burn and upgrade quite simple and only ever needed to do it once).

The problem with the games is that you cannot let NTSC games upgrade your System Menu, as this will kill the Wii.

Best solution, only use PAL ISO's where possible and hook your Wii up to the internet via WiFi and keep it up to date via the Internet.

Never had a problem doing it this way :)

Last time i looked into it you need a certen LG model burner, so i didnt bother cause i can get the games for $15 each.

But if there is a new way of burning im keen.

burning them is easy mate

at 3x or no more than 4x and youre fine

the reason why you need the LG dvd drive is when you want to CREATE the image of the Wii disc. if you want to copy hired games youll need this, if youre burning downloaded images you dont need it

is yours chipped or soft modded??

apparently you should be downloading patched versions for modchips and UNpatched versions for softmods

i flashed my 360....

you can do it youself with the v3 connectivity kit... u just have to solder a couple of wires temporarily onto the dvd drive...

you can even do it without the connectivity kit. which is what i did.. using just an rs232 interface with sata cable ($15 in parts). its pretty easy now, theres one tool that does it all through windows.
