Heya,

Ive got a spare bottom mount bride seat lying around and would like to make it into a computer seat, ive got a standard office chair I can unbolt but need to know if the shitty base I will make for it will hold.

Basically Im looking for anyone who has done this and what did you use? wood? metal? (im a really shit welder though), as I'd prefer not to go ass over head in it.

my girlfriend does her uni work sitting on an old model Bride seat.

I used the office chair base,and bolted two pieces of ~350x40x4mm flat bar to the frame,and then drilled the appropriate holes in the bar to line up with the holes in the base of the seat. a few washers spaced up the back to give it a better angle,and all done.
