nah i get ALL channels perfectly

my guess is your PC is intefering with the signal and stuffing it up for the internal tuner, and also interference down the line to the other SD tuner

some of the cheaper tuners have no sheilding and also dont have strong tuners. this might be some of the problem. your TV being sony more than likely wont have a problem ever even with a shit signal, my HD HDD rec picks up everything fine, even when the signal is shit, the inbuilt TV tuner sometimes cant get 10HD, probably because its a 'cheaper' brand than sony, being panasonic lol

first thing to try would be to replace the cabling if its old, and maybe try some quad sheilded coaxial cable from jaycar. i think they sell pre-made cables, if not i can crimp what you need

HAHAh...

try to reset your boxes using the default setting option.

Channel 7 upgraded their FEC signal so some boxes are unable to correct this problem.

Give it a go
