For the past year or two, I've been using a pair of subwoofer boxes as a bedside table. Recently I sold one for a double quarter pounder meal. Unfortunately, this halved the height of my bedside table so I had to build a new one. Luckily I'd stolen a few bits from DumHed's place when he was out of town, and had some other stuff lying around.

After fifteen minutes of drinking and welding, (mostly drinking), I present: The Heaviest Bedside Table Known To Man (or THBTKTM for short.)

Thanks.

If anyone has another 3 (or 4) SR20 pistons that they're throwing out, please let me know. I'd like to hang a full set off the crank.

Needs glass! Maybe you could weld those cams to the top to sit the glass on?

I've seen some partly destroyed gearsets still on their respective shafts used at candle holders, that actually looked quite good, had some laquer on it too so it didnt corrode, and have also seen a VW beetle windscreen on beer kegs coffee table.

someone also posted the rover 3.5 v8 coffee table on here at some stage in the past IIRC.

Bolt a stock silvia wheel to the top brake disk or my spare steering wheel 8)

I've seen various ca18 bits in fishtanks :) Is good.

haha nice work buddy! i laughed real hard when I saw those pics, that single piston looks lonely though :P

Imagine knocking that over and it landing on your foot - OUCH!

ought to get some coating done so that it doesn't get all rusty
