Look the HSC aint everything, neither is uni, but doing well in your HSC makes life easier. Doing badly does not close doors, but doing well sure does open some.

It's just a number though. For reference, I did rather well, but when 4 people in your course scored a UAI of 100 (out of 7 statewide) and you have NSWs top chem, physics, bio and 4u maths students, it does give a bit of perspective.

My HSC wasn't too bad - If any of you are stressing about it, its really not that bad.. Definitely no worse than the trials!

I got 12% in my standard english trial, and 52% in my HSC exam..

Good luck dudes and dudettes

I did my HSC last year at Tafe as i left school after year 10 to work full time and get some experience, buy a car and save some monies etc.. Did a few other courses while working, but decided to go back and do my HSC in 8 months at tafe. Trials are harder than the actual HSC exam. They are very similar though. If u apply urself you'll do fine. Just have a rum each night [a glass that is] and chill out and dont stress about the next exam. Be confident and you'll do fine.
My UAI was only in the 70s. I wanted to to Vet Science but needed UAI of 98.42. Hehe oh wellz... maybe in the next life.

If in doubt, join the defence force :D

Good luck to all 8)
