Im heading to the Gaelic Theatre on friday night (Slurry Hills), and am taking the 180. Im a little concerned about where to park!

Anyone know of any cheap, safe places? The concert starts at 6:30, and goes til just past midnight.

good luck and i rekon take another car.

parking is a premium. im not sure of parking stations around there, but be prepared for a ticket if you park in residential zones. sometimes youll be lucky.

If I'm parking in the city for extended periods of time especially at night I always take the daily trash around car to the city. Lots of dodgy stuff can happen to cars especially in the city at night......

I live about 15km away from there. do NOT park an import on the street at night in surry hills.

not unless you're trying to claim insurance.

as for parking stations, there's nothing in the area really. you'll have to park in haymarket to get into a parking station or try on the street near oxford street and walk.

bring the 31. noone will touch that.

There is an old shelled out building in Quay street near Central Bus station that is $15 flat rate.

It's reasonably secure. I parked the OneThree and the Cressie there many times without dramas :)

So far, just a 4age bigport with extractors (supposedly has cams too, but I doubt it).
Its got a VL fuel pump and some other dodgy crap that i'll be ripping out and doing properly, but its got a few months before I so much as look at it again.

The power it has is very suprising, so that department wont need any attention, but the suspension is absolutely craptacular. The body has no rust, but there are a few scrapes and dints. Oh well, its only a corolla

Luke I reckon the Entertainment Center car park near Haymarket would be good, or else go to any secure car park in the city and walk/catch a bus to Slurry Hills (5-10 minutes or so).

You definitely DO NOT want to park anywhere in the area.

Goblin spent 4 years parked on the street every night in that area. I'd be much more worried about putting a car in most of the parking garages in the area than parking on the street.
