hey, iam planning to get the ntsc/jap ps3 and i was wondering about a couple of things..
would the ps3 from overseas be able to use ps3 accessories here in aus?
and also would it be able to play burnt games? meaning do i still have to get it chipped liked da pal ps3?
on a note da ps3 comes with aus adaptor :)
anyone have any ideas??

AFAIK your tv will need to be able to do NTSC, shouldnt be a problem because most do already these days

yes there is a PS3 'chip' go search for it.

and yes the accessories will work with a jap one, just watch the power tho and 100% make sure its a local one because i think jap power is onlt 120v not 240v like here so you will blow it (and maybe the ps3) up

Jap unit is 110-240v 100%
And yeah search for a ps3 chip- also dont hold youre breath as you may suffocate

you also won't be able to use Aussie blu-ray discs as blu-ray, is region coded ;)
