Hi

Does anyone know where to get carbon fibre sheeting, about A4 sized?

I'm preferably looking for a place in Sydney so I can go and inspect the quality, rather than overseas on ebay.. but hey, if you see something decent, maybe you'd like to point it out..

hmmmm...

some sheet manufacturers i use are APF Australian Plastic Fabricators

or Mascot Steel might be able to get it.

Saint Gobain Vetrotex- Where the old FMS building is at Seven Hills.
They should have it.
Only in the matt though- you would have to make it into flat sheet with the resin.

Gave bodyform a ring, very helpful guys.. that's what I call service.

Apparently there is a shortage of carbonfibre in Australia/where Australia sources most of it's CF because some Aeroplane company bought a heap of it leaving not much left for the rest of us.

They said they (only) have a 1.2M x 0.8M sheet of CF left, and they should be able to spare me an A3 sheet for $80. I'll be paying them a visit.. ta
