Valentines day is such a commercialised, over hyped, Americanised waste of money.

I don't need one date in they year to tell my wife how I feel. I'd rather surprise her and buy her flowers or take her to dinner on any night I want. I'll tell you right now, you get more props for that. Not to mention all the money you save when you don't buy things on V day.

U are so right. Its like chrsitmas too. So much money gets spend during those times and for me personally I perfer to spend it after christmas when the big sales are on and yeah it is better for your wallet. Luckly some girls and wifes undertsand that it is smarter and better to use money wisely than following the pack. \

For the hotel booking I actually have it for the friday night beacuse it is half as much as a wed night and luckly my girl knows its smarter because it means I can get her more stuff than spending it all in the one go on the one day!!!!!!
