I got 12.5% tints done on my car, I wanted 15% tinting, but the guy had run out of 15%, only had enough to do 1 back quater window, so I opted for the slightly darker.
I used to have 15% tint on my Mazda 626 sports hatch, that was sweet and night time driving wasn't hindered at all, and from inside the car you could hardly see the tint, but outside the car it was nice and dark looking, the fact it was light inside was a saviour for some police who wanted to defect the car.
With the 180sx, it's slightly darker than I had planned, but once the water bubbles and so-forth dry out in the next few days, it will lighten up a little and be sweet.
I got mine done through a friend in another club, it was done for $200 and the job is professional and very sweet, and this guy can travel as well, so if we where to group at a convenient place, he would be able to do 5 or so cars, but that would be an entire day. (mine took about 90 minutes from start to finish).
Mine is slightly annoying at night, but once it lightens slightly it shouldn't be a huge issue, but I have a friend with 5% tint, and it's impossible for him to reverse park at night, as you struggle to see through the windows, and with S13's not being able to put the rear windows down, it makes things harder....
