Ive been thinking of this for a while and decided to post up.
Sorry if its come up before.

I was wondering if we can donate parts to the club (stock, 2nd hand aftermarket etc) so the club can then sell them and use the money for say, bbq's and to keep the website going or what ever needs to be.

And maybe in return, we get club stickers or 'credits' to add up to get t-shirts, seat covers etc.
What do you think??

i generally jump on all the free parts, hoard them, and pass em onto mates/members that need when they are in shit, but interesting notion though :)

It's a good idea but it's probably alot easier if you sell the parts and donate the money to the club.

Thats correct, while donating the parts to the club is a great and generous jesture, it means that we have to transport them and store them.

I for one barely have enough room to store my own crap at the moment.

The other option would be then for members to sell bits and pieces at events such as BBQ days, Dyno Nights etc and then donate that to the club.

Yeah I could sell the parts myself, but the only reason why I would rather donate them is because where I live there is like 3 turbo sr20's and thats it. It would be alot easier to sell parts if one of you guys did instead.

It's not a bad idea. I'm not sure how inclined people'll be to give the money they've just received for the parts to the club however.

A swap meet sounds good.
