i taped them and watched a bunch once a day when they were on agros too. i should still have some lying aroudn collecting dust somewhere. i might regret saying this one day too but i cried when i first saw optimus flatline and die in the movie... i think i was 7...

What was the name of that show that had the space ship that looked like a submarine or a ship and was called the Argo or something? I used to love that show. The ship had this mega weapon that it shot out of it's front. I can picture it, but i can't remember what the show was called!

Oh, and don't forget that Transformers rip-off - Mighty Machine Men!

i'm only 22 in november, but i still remember Agro, watching early episodes of TMNT and Thundercats along with the other oldies. I probably still have my full set of Constructicons somewhere, the set that joint together, and Starscream, and a big plastic Optimus

i had an optimus and still have a cyclonus! and wats with bumble-bee being a pontiac? he's not a sport car hes supposed to be a beetle! sun-streaker and jazz and hot rod were the sick-leh cars

Radism: you're not alone there,I was pretty badly cut as well the first time I saw the movie. all of us were at the time. everyone I've askedboth back then,and since felt betrayed before the movie was even halfway through. they kill off nearly the entire original cast,and replace them with the transforming equivalent of metrosexuals. thr fourth season lost it as far as the story went. we had hundreds of original characters,and then it narrowed to a dozen or so autobots,against galvatron,and his three guys and their clones. wow,exciting stuff...

trying to get this somewhat car-related,if you go through the Gen1 autobo cast,there was some serious machinery out there.
off the top of my head we had:

BT: the original name of star blazers was space battleship yamato. do a search for it,it's a cult anime in Japan. I loved it as a kid,used to be on the ABC in the arvos,just before doctor who.

fuck we had it good as kids. astroboy,battle of the planets,bugs bunny and such on the weekday mornings,stuff like ninja turtles and star blazers in the weekday arvos,and stuff like transformers,centurions,smurfs,robotech,thundercats and hulk hogan on saturday mornings...
bring back the good old days. when we had nothing to worry about and the most stress you had was getting a sandwich you didn't like in your lunchbox.
