Well, it seems that Italy is the team!

France dominated for 70 minutes, but just couldn't put the Italians away. Henry looked like he was going to score the winning goal at any time. He really showed some touches of brilliance.

As for Zizou's head butt, i couldn't believe what i was seeing! What a way to end your illustrious career. Brain explosion defined. :o


Well done to Italy all the same. They definately played well all tournament and at least Australia can say that they were beaten by the eventual winners. :)


Now to try and get through a day of work after being up since 3:30am... :(

For a guy like that to go the headbutt, i think something pretty nasty was said about his wife or his race. Were not talking about some hot head like Rooney here.

That head butt was bloody awesome! Word slinging during sports is what you do. A nerve was struck and it worked for Italy and a player was sent off for a brain snap.

I was hoping for an all in brawl but oh well, spewing Italy won. :(
