i love going to hot pot specialty resturaunts

there is one in ashfield called "hot pot" which is pretty nice, thats all they do there, its good they have special tables for the bowls to sit inside, not like the others where they bring out a little burner and you have to watch you dont burn yourself and stand up half the time to reach the stupid bowl

Cafe Sydney is pretty good. Circular Quay area with a great view of the harbour and a wide variety of yummy foods.

King St Wharf..
Good mix of fine dining or casual. I wish I could remeber the name of the one we went to. It was Meditteranean, salsa dancing upstairs. Prices were reasonable and very relaxing.

Its called La Cita, nice place.

Good Italian food at a good price: Il Goloso at Haberfield (real pizza);

Good steak and ribs: Hurricanes (have the ribs) at Bondi or Ribs and Rumps (have the mixed grill) at Manly;

German with good atmosphere: Louenbrau Keller at the Rocks (good beer too, a bit pricy) try the mixed platter or pork belly;

tried the Merrylands Bowling Club AYCE on the weekend, wasn't too bad at all really. One of the better ones I've had.

yeah... I was most impressed by the calamari, which was actually not rubber... also the roast. Bit disappointed the ice cream wasn't soft serve, but i'll let it slide.

haha... I'm sure they'd love that. Gets really busy though, i couldn't believe how much turnover they had.

Has anyone tried Jimenez Mexican in Baulkham Hills? I always hear good things, but have never gotten down there.

New place just opened in Homebush, in Bicentennial Park, called Lillies on the park, was opened on the 27th of Sept by the Tourist Miniter, but be warned, they charge at Tourist rates...

I have only heard good things about it, but haven't been there myself yet....
