Hmm there's almost enough people on the northern beaches to open an S13 specific workshop :)

Anywho, my name's Andrew, and I currently don't own a roadworthy vehicle.
My last Silvia was smashed by an old guy in a Camry, and I'm now building up a Datsun 260Z as a daily driver and a 180B as a rally / general off street thrash car.

I work on the northern beaches, mainly doing electronics hardware stuff for a company making EFTPOS and other communications related gear, or working on race cars (when I'm not working on my own)

Oh yeah, probably should have done an intro.

Hello group. My names Salwyn and im 22.
Been a member here for quite a while. Had/have an Auto (yuk) CA 180 since i started driving, and about a year ago bought a manual SR20 180. Need to get rid of the Auto one.

I'm for all intensive purposes a bum when between IT contracts.

Apart from my love of cars, i am a fanatical Fulham Football Club supporter.

*stands up, very nervous* My name is Dave and I'm a sil-a-holic

Hey guys, my name is Dave. I've only just recently bought my s13 SR manual. I don't have any huge plans for it, would just like to make it a nice daily driver thats clean and tidy but also has a bit of go.

You'll hopefully catch me out on most upcoming events, and I'm from around the Hills district. And like most others, I'm the IT manager at a auto dismantlers - GMS Spares.

My name's Ryan, i own an s13 Onevia, and i live on the Northern Beaches.

Bought my car about a year ago and got it on the road in June this year. It's an SR turbo manual with a few minor mods. I'm still at school so it's more of a weekend driver.

Apart from school i eat, watch tv, listen to music, work on the sil, whore this forum and sleep.

I'm going to try to get to a few of the next cruises, so i might see you there.

I'm Justin. I'm from the east and am one of the few people on here that works on cars for a living, not just as a hobby.

I've owned 15 cars so far in 14 years of driving, and it's been a fairly varied mix of metal that I've owned so far.
I currently drive a toyota Celsior, and am building an AE86 that I've had for years but never got around to doing much with.

Why am I here? to keep me entertained,to keep the idiots honest, and to trade parts and occasionally, information.

Justin...

All,

Name is Rick, been here for a while, having been interested in S13/180/etc for sometime coming close to purchasing one.

However, no Silvia here, I've had a R32 GTR for a sometime now, of which is fairly modified, as per my profile.

Have owned a few cars over the years from RX7s to Cressidas to the current car, but have fixated my interest in Nissan through process of elimination ;)

call me slow but i dont get it?

ok down to business.
i've been on this forum for a year or two now.. been interested in cars ever since like 2001 or something.. back then i just loved turbo for the sound of it.. i own a 180sx atm which is a p.o.s. not really modded so in other words bone stock.
i scout the forums looking for information and to ask noob questions.
i have been to a few meetups but havent really met anyone except robo when i bought a sticker off him lol
plans for my car: try to get into under 13 second bracket. (still along way to go) then after that... hopefully do a sr20 conversion thats been fully rebuilt.

Ok, my turn.

I jumped on this site from the far depths of Nambucca Heads after snapping a couple of wheels studs, posting a question of type/cost on NS.com and being shot down by the immature people.

My other half found this site, I signed up, got a decent responce, and got my issue sorted.

I have been here for a little voer a month or so now, and quite enjoy the site.

My passions include cruising, working on my car, the occasional time chatting on the internet, and meeting new and interesting people, and enjoying time with my pure bred Cornish Rex (my cat).

I am a little shy in person until I get to know people, but otherwise I am pretty outspoken and open.

I have owned my s13 180sx for about 9 months, logged over 30,000 known Km, and estimate a further 10,000 km's from times when my speedo and ordometer have failed me.

I frequently travel to Canberra where I have good friends, and to Brisbane where my parents and other friends are, so if anyone is in those areas, we can meet up at some point for a drink/coffee and chat.

I live on Sydney's lovely North Shore, but I am not your average 'snob'.

Thanks for taking the time to read about me.

Cheers,

Brian.

Love it, Can't bring myself to sell it even though the accountant wants me too....
