Hi guys, my name is Peter. I've been lurking on here for a long time and posting occasionally, but I've finally got my Silvia! Anyways, some of you may know me from NissanSilvia.com, but seeing as I can't be fisted to re-type my intro, I will just copy and paste from the thread I posted in there:

I was 14 when I first saw a Silvia in HPI and thought "That's the car I'm gonna buy when I get my licence!"

Well, I got my L's on my 16th birthday, and luckily my P's on my 17th birthday (a little more than a month ago), and so finally my folks allowed me to buy a Silvia with my hard earned cash. I worked like a slave in a pizza shop for ages to save up enough for my Sil.

Seriously, I've been looking at cars for the last three years. You guys can't possibly appreciate unless you have had a similar experience how wicked it is to have your licence and your dream car. I bought chinkeboi's old Silvia. Here are the specs, and a few photos he took for the sale ad. I will take some more when I can get my hands on the digital camera tonight.

1992 S13 Silvia
SR20DE (damn turbo laws, still stoked though! :woot:)
Manual transmission
Black

Interior:
Black "Silvia" seat covers from UAS
Genuine leather Nismo shift knob
Kenwood head unit
Pioneer rear speakers
Aftermarket pedals

Exterior:
Aftermarket smoked tail lights
Nismo style 2-slat Grill
Lightly tinted windows
Aftermarket headlight bulbs (gotta replace them though, they are shit!)

Engine:
Front and rear strut tower braces :D Holds the car together nicely!
A'pexi Pod Filter
Custom cold air intake
2.5" Cannon Muffler

Rolling stock:
Stock Series 2 15" wheels
Brand new rubber as of 07/03/06 - Goodyear Eagle PCT 5 (great grip)

The best thing about this car is it is the perfect platform for some light modding, and it is an honest car! It has a few dints and scratches on the exterior, but what can you expect for a 14 year old car? The exhaust sounds fantastic...and the car...well, overall, it just looks great! The interior is immaculate - apparently it has been garaged all its life!

Plans for the car? Well after buying it I'm pretty low on funds, but probably I think some Concept 9 rims might look nice ('cos they are white), and also later on perhaps a body kit. I've been looking at those new M-Flex body kits, are they any good? (Link: http://www.nissansilvia.com/forums/index.p...owtopic=150671

Since purchasing I have removed the spoiler. I will post a tutorial I wrote for those that are thinking of doing it (though it's very easy to figure out).

Anyways, I'm still very stoked about the whole thing. Pics:

I live on the lower North Shore, and hopefully I will be able to attend a few cruises later on! Woooooot!

Hehe yeah pretty thorough... ;)

Well what can I say... Im 19, live in the shire (:P), go to uni at wollongong where Im a commerce student, work at Kmart, and have a black '92 180sx. S13 blacktop SR, HKS turbo, HKS exhaust, EMS stinger ECU, Trust front mount, few other goodies too.

Reason I got my 180sx was that someone wrote off my last car :( Twas an '89 EP71 Starlet Turbo S. Very cool little car... Until an idiot decided not to brake at a set of lights I had stopped at and run straight up the back of her...

The 180 is good, got to love RWD ;)

Dont know what else to say really... Im pretty easy going so feel free to just say gday :)

swanny, im from the St George area, but am basically at nulla nulla (a cafe for non-shire people) 3 or 4 nights during the week. If you see a white 180 parked outside there, it'll be me. :)

Hey all, My names Mandi (obviously) and I 19 and from Tassie... I own a strawberry face 180sx... its a CA and Im keeping the CA engine in it because I love the fact they enjoy revving more than an SR and just too piss everyone off who has told me to rip out the ca and put in an SR :P .... I bought my 180sx bog stock a bit over a year ago and have done the following mods: vertex skirts, s15 conversion, c-west front bar, tein coil-overs all round, 3inch xorst from cat back, apexi turbo timer, custom interior, pod, 17inch speedy zirrocos, sony xplod head unit, pioneer mono block amp, pioneer 12inch sub, 5 1/4 alpine coaxials and thats about all I can think of now... have future mods planned some of which are engine mods that will be making my car get around 200rwKw ...
