Looking to fit a set on the 180 soon -has anyone got any helpful pics of where they mounted the ballasts???

The Green ones were 7,500K, they gave me the shits after the first day so I swapped them for the 6,500K which are the other ones you can see.
In the pics they look like they have a purple tinge to the them, but they actually appear very white in real life.

Fitting: when you put the globes in the S15 lights, there is a tube of plastic insulation on the exterior probe, this cracked on one side due to the S15 globe holder being so small.
The other side did not crack, so you just need to be careful, the cracking does not effect any aspect of operation so no big deal anyway.

Can someone tell me when fitting a HID kit to an S15, is the cut off still nice and clean?

I know that with the projector headlights it is much better suited to HID globes rather than reflector type headlights.

it's unlikely any conversion kit will give you a proper focus. the reflector (even a projector type) is going to be designed to correctly focus the output of a halogen globe. as the discharge from HID's are different,it'll be scattered in comparison. they'll work of course, but they won't put out the correct (and legal) pattern.

the only way to have it spot-on is to get original xenon lights.

i had original xenon S15 headlights and they shat all over any kit. plus the height adjustment would have been awesome too if i had actually hooked it up :P

but as justin said, they wont be perfect without factory items
