In my 1990 s13 silvia Q's the factory hud(heads up display) isnt working.
The optional hud speedo in it doesnt work, would it be to do with the wiring???

Does anyone know of any places around brisbane that i can get it fixed+ prices if possible. Thanks

The HUD is simply connected to the dash via one connector, and this could be loose (on either the dash end or HUD end). I was able to pull out the dash and fiddled with it without any big dramas (minus blowing some fuses). If you want to avoid blowing fuses then I suggest you disconnect the battery, but I didn't do it because I need to see if the dash was working after the fiddling so disconnecting the batter was useless.

This might come as trivial but there's a button to turn the HUD on and off on the dash. Try pressing that...or beating the button a bit hehehe. Always start with the easiest option first.
