Quicktrak have discounts from time to time. I paid $200 less than their standard price. I think their standard price is $1800 (installed at your place) or so with a years monitoring included. Every year you have to pay an extra $370 to keep the monitoring on.

I have heard that Brant is bringing out a tracking alarm in the near future(?) That will be better than the quick trak alarm.

Is the quicktrak allarm any good?

I know of its pitfalls, like no coverage outside of sydney and all but when you are out of its monitoring limits is the actual alarm/ immobiliser any good? how many are there?

Just asking coz a car im looking at this weekend has a quicktrak and i need to know a bit more about the system coz i spend a fair bit of time down south near kiama.

Well it saved my mates Rexxy once, so its done job and its been paid over I guess.

You can pick them up 2nd hand also, but they must be a Quick Track authorised installer.

A friend of mine is one of the 4 top installers in Sydney, he gets the fun job of working out cars that havent had them installed before. So he knows the inside out. From lambo's to pleb boxes, hes done them all.

Pm me if ya like , he may have some QLD hook up's.
