some turbo timers are not compatible with some car alarms.
i was pretty close to gettin this 'baby' HKS TT but it just wasnt compatible to any alarms

Brant Alarms offers a package that comes with a Bltiz auto TT

or just sit inside your car and let it idle with peace of mind

I've got a Greddy TT and it works well with my Cobra immobiliser. I asked Brant about it's compatibility too, and it's fine.

Turbo timers make your car much easier to steal, your better off not using one if your willing to idle down the car and then turn it off manually.

There is a GReddy TT on the market at the moment, it has manual and auto timer set (it can automatically set a cooling time for the type of driving you do), times for : Lap, 200M, 400M, 0- 100km timer, It has a host of other features on it too and it looks cool. the screen is blue and will go red for warning ( I think its for air fuel mixture), I think it is around $250 bucks.

I get mine this week !!! :P

you could also check out pivot TT's cos they have a built in shift light too!!!

You can hook the TT's up to your hand brake so once the hand brake goes down then the TT swiches off, I think that is a good idea.

Just adding that I have installed my turbo timer, and the full auto has my thumbs up. I have mide set on 1 minute. any spirited driving overides this time, and the timer will adjust the time accordingly. I went out for some "dough nuts" at KK's on saturday night, and after some spirited driving I notice that the timer had gone up to 5 and a half minutes......... Its a top piece of gear!!!
