I need help,
I was looking at the Apexi kit, see -
http://www.autospeed.com/shop/category_1811/browse.html

Is this right only $198 for the kit to suit a Z32 AFM

If you scroll down it also has the Heat shield and piping kits.

Then you look here http://www.autospeed.com/shop/category_351/browse.html
and it has the 85mm filter for $143 + $198 for the adaptor. :-?

just get a second hand filter from some skyline person.

The AFM fitting is the same, and you can then use your existing filter on it.

Or the other alternative is just to drill new holes in your current filter adapter so it fits the Z32 AFM (the main intake hole is the same size, just the mounting holes are slightly different)

But it's Apexi bro :P
Wont the mouth on my current fillter be restrictive, or are all filters themselves relativley the same size and just the AFM has a larger diameter.

the filters are all the same. the adaptor just suits different cars AFMs. for smaller cars i think there is a smaller filter, but there are only a few differernt filter elements you can get.

hey just get the super suction kit :)

the intake hole in the SR20 AFM is actually the same size as the Z32, but it shrinks down to a smaller bore in the middle.

The mouting holes for the airbox / pod adapter are in different positions, but not by much.
