Well it depeds, some places who arent as well known are able to lower the price. A friend of mine even made up his own exhaust in 3" mandrel bent stainless steel. Its just the labour that takes up alot of time, hence money but if u knew how to weld everything all up, apparently its very cheap. He was able to get his exhaust done for half the price of what everyone is quoting only because he did everything himself.

The guys at the place told me that he will need about 2hours to do the job before I can get my car back. How long does it usually take?

you can buy everything you need to build an exhaust system at a good steel warehouse
4 inch stainless piping including mandrel bends = 380
3 inch muffler (will replace when turbo is bigger) = 150
cat = $???
really need a big cat.... tiger maybe? lions are getting expensive :o :wink:

I got an R33 GTR cat for $40...
It's 2.75" I think..
not too bad, but if you're going to have a 4" zorst, you'd want a bigger cat :)

Tuffy did graet work on my car and many others i know. Sorry no experience with Livo - too far from home have heard mixed stories bout them though.

well i just got my turbo back exhaust done at livo exhausts today as some of u have recommended. My car now sounds mean and goes heaps harder, its a shame i couldnt make it to the [sx] dyno day to see the improvements though. But apart from that the service was pretty good, pricing-wise i could have got a better deal from Tuffy but ive been to them before for my previous car and it wasnt exactly the best exhaust system ive seen/heard. Well so far so good, just hoping i dont run into any troubles with this exhaust :)
