Hi, just a quick question. Got a few defi gauges off a friend, they are the ones that link up to the control unit. However unlike other gauges they dont have a plug for vacuum lines to read boost. Did a search and it looks like there is a seperate boost sensor that that links up to the control unit. Just wanted to confirm that this is the case.

And around about how much and where i can pick one up, tried ebay and couldnt find it. And another thing is that i have no clue what it looks like so if anybody that has them can post me a pic so i can thoroughly search my friends car to see if it's still in there it would be grand.

Thanks in advance.

Tony

p.s. just found something can anybody confirm the below pic is what im looking for?

Yes that is correct. There is normally an enginebay-mounted sensor that the boost/vac signal connects to and it has defi embossed on it.

That pic you posted is pretty low res so I can't make much out. If you have a look at the enginebay pic in my build-up thread, you can see my one attached to one of the power-steering reservoir mounting bolts
