the only problem is that the pivot speed meter is calibrated for jap cars and won't work accurately on anything else :(

Oh, well, thats just a small hardly significant detail now isn't it

Back to the Heads-Up display then. Luckily Mayhem has mentioned: ... but the HUD kits come with a reflective tint that 99% stops that....
So there is still hope for the old fella if I can find somewhere that sells them. (luckily I am at work so I can email all day long   )

would there be any type of film etc that can be placed above the heads up display to get it to work or will a new screen have to be placed in to make it work?????

i dont really want to go and buy a new windscreen just to get the heads up display working.

The response time on the Defi unit is slow, which means it takes a while before your true speed is indicated. It is okay for cruising around town and on long trips, but don't try to use it as a replacement for your speedo when quick speed changes are occuring.

Cheers, Brenton
