Has any S15 owners tried to remove the reflectors on the rear bumper bar? I'm thinking of doing it coz I think it'll improve the look of the car.
Is it easy to remove and also will it leave any visible holes/marks?

Really big holes, it will be cheaper to get a new rear bar rather then getting the holes patched up.

leave them on, people see you better!!
Thinking of installin an excel rear fog light! (NOT!)

Some smash repairs can paint them or replace them with mesh, but I think both look pretty average!

Tamer, did it cost you much to have them filled in??
I have seen where people have just apinted straight over the reflector and that looks average.

Filling them in though, would be pretty sweet!

I had the holes filled and the nismo rear bar pods fitted and paint total
was $600
the fill job on the holes is perfect they just cut plastic off another bar and weld it on you can not tell at all where the holes were.
but as you know they fck up on the colour  i am going to mediation with them to try and get some of my money back to get it resprayed elseware
i got quotes around $300 to just spray the bar
so you could probably get the holes filled and the bar sprayed for around
$500
just go some where that dose not use PPG paints

for $500 an aftermarket f/bar could also be an option

Yeah i guess it would work out about the same
but i wanted the original silvia look
an an original jdm bar is alot more than $500

also i had the mediation with the panel beater
and got $250 back off him so im back on track to get my bar
resprayed again.

acutally there might be some wreckers where you could get an aftermarket jdm bar from. There is at least a few places that had a few jdm s15s in stock.

I am in love with the Vertex kit now so, I will wait until I can justify paying for it. 8)

yeah I sold my rear jdm bar and pods and went vertex kit... it's just smooth and not too obtrusive. Although I'm not a big fan of fiberglass body parts.

My car is in having this done at the moment (cos i needed the rear bar repaired anyway (pranged it) - but if there are JDM S15s at wreckers or the like I would be very interested. Could any of you guys throw us some names? cheers. otherwise I will just fill and spray it.
