personally i rekon its going to be a lot of work. but thats just a guess

from memory the actual roof in a sunroof model is different from factory. its not just a matter of cutting a hole in the roof, there are mounting points and differences in the bracing of the roof itself

I'd have to agree.

Unless someone is 100% sure it is legal and has done it before, i wouldn't want to be interfering with the structural integrity of the roof :-?

You would also most probably have to look into replacing the roof lining to accommodate for the sunroof also.

Sounds good in theory but going along with the work involved in putting it in might be a bit of a hassle.

no

installing a factory sunroof into a car that didnt originally have a sunroof in it from factory will be a shit fight.

get a decent aftermarket roof and have that installed properly by a professional. they have all the seals and rims as part of the sunroof kit and they will retrim the roof lining too.

I totally agree with you, i'm in car sales and it's better to leave sunroof to the professionals. Your looking around the $2000-$2500 for a good quality sunroof with warranty and have it done by a company who have had over 30 years experience installing sunroofs!
