the only thing you have to remember is to NOT touch the glass of the burner. you shouldnt do that with normal lamps too

Thats true. I seen the guy install it in my car and have to admit I was thanking god that I wasnt the one doing it, because like I said for a s13 with age and wear it is kinda of hard to put oout and put on. But it is worth your money to put it on because u can see alot better on the roads and also when u are driving in dark places. Anything that will increase your safety for u and your car I heavily endorse it.

One of my mates got 8000k on his s15, and suggests that i get 6000k.

Which ones do you prefer getting and is safe for driving in the rain?

8000k will be so blue you will lose some visibility, something NOT over 6000k is ok, but ~4300k is the best IMO.

I'm on my 2nd set of HIDs and can't go back to normal globes.

Burnt my 1st set out after 18 months of use because I wasn't aware that you shouldn't high beam.

During the installation of my 2nd set I touched the right globe, now it's a shit load dimmer than the passenger side so be extra careful during installation.

Anyone know what I should use to clean the globe?

Am thinking of getting a HID conversion kit from Ebay.

Does the wiring of the HID's tap into the wiring of the car so I can use the normal light switches on the car to turn on the lights?

Anyone used the Bi HID kits from Ebay? Whats the quality like?

yes, the wiring as far as I have seen is the same, the power cables that would have gone to the back of the original globe go into the ignitor for the burner in HID.

As far as cleaning the globe I'm not sure its possible, I was told that teh reason it goes dimmer etc is because of the natural oils on ur fingers, once they are on teh globe, then the heat from the globe/burner sort of makes the oil etch into the glass, and so it creates a sort of film

that 2nd paragraph is all off hearsay tho, so anyone who can correct/confirm...

Do you get much attention from cops?

I have eyelids.. and they seem to cut the beam off so it's quite hard to see at night

HID light on the other hand, has revolutionized indoor gardening in the last sector of a century as it does not need such close measures to offer proper increase.
