Im willing to bet your Super Streets werent setup properly. Which do you care about; Dumping the wheels up inside the guard or having a car "handle on rails"? Usually the two dont go hand in hand.

ok

first of all there is LIMITED height adjustement in the super streets. much more limited than the others in the tein range.

second, why would you want to SLAM your car its not practical and safe....

http://ksportusa.com/ for the lazy bastards

i agree with others who say you cant 'slam' your car and have something that handles on 'rails'

remember its all relative, i would say a proper setup without being slammed will handle better then what you have now

I love experts too. especially ones that actually know something about ther cars.

what's your current ride height? do you know your current alignment settings? do you know why you have each set the way it is?
have you measured the suspension right through it's travel for bump steer? is your current ride height legal? do you still have sufficient suspension travel before you hit the bump stops? have you negatively affected the car's roll centres by lowering it as far as you have? do you know what a roll centre is? do you know your spring rates? do you know your damper ratios? do you know why you have each set where they are? would you like me to keep going?

in short, don't hassle people on here when they try to give you advice, particularly when it come to something that affects the safety of both yourself and those who share the road with you. excessively lowered cars are NOT faster and do NOT handle better than ones set up properly. if you knew what you were doing, you'd understand that.

now,it might look fully hektik SLAMMED on it's arse with deep dish super supremes in 20",but it will not handle anywhere near as well as a mildly lowered car with money spent in the right places underneath, with a proper alignment and a set of lightweight 16's or 17's. if you disagree, you're clearly someone who has yet to experience a well set up S15,and pays more attention to the cover girls on fast fours than to anyone who builds or maintains serious cars.

Don't tell them that, they might throw a tanty... I was referring to talking to people with and who build real cars as an alternative activity to reading that fountain of knowledge known as fast fours... the 'performance car' magazine that has a feature 'babe' each month. you know they're serious about driving when you see that... and all the ads for chrome 20's and airbrushing...

while we're talking seriously, does airbrushing make your car handle better,or does it just add more horsepower? I have a mate who knows this guy who heard from his neighbour's friend that if you get custom airbrushed graphics on your car,it will decimate all. is that true? if so,I'll be booking my car in for three of the big ones. and I'll want them tonight.
