Got a quote from the local bodykit shop (Newcastle Jetspeed) and their prices are pretty well the same as this bloke. I have a mate who's had two of their kits (Soarer Vertex and 180sx Vertex) on his cars and they look pretty sweet to me.
Might have to go sus it out in person, they got Vertex and BN but no BN rear bars with no new ones coming in apparently....
But yeah wide front and rear for $400 all up isn't bad either, prolly just do metalwork instead though but a good option if i decide not to.

At $150 a pair for rear widebody it'd quite like that that will be cheaper then fixing the multiple dents in the left rear quarter :P

avi's been on the ns forums for a while now.
always been great with prices

but end of the day, you get what you pay for.
cheap kits will require more prep work in the end.

Just wondering, cause i was interested in getting a new kit, what if you paid the extra 700 his asking for to get the kit fitted and painted, then he would have to make it fit nice wouldnt he? is 700 a good price for paint and fitting? cause when i was gonna buy a new front bar off the for sale area, i found that just a paint on that would cost about 350-450.

Obviously yes, your not gonna pay him $700 and when you get the car back the front bar is half hanging off.

on the topic of bodykits.. i will share mine

******* are fucked all their front bars are $400 ie overpriced.. vertex, veilside style whatever..

my cuz showed me the kits u get from there first hand..
cracks galore.. if u don't paint with them.. they try to get u to make them fit it and but its always a dodgey job so when u take elsewhere to paint.. it cracks everywhere!..

i spoke to 2 customers with showcars from my uncle's shop myself.. they tell u to stay well away from *******, even peter from bodyform says he won't work with ******* kits..

also the cunt went off at me.. kept sweaing to me over the phone jus cause i tried suggesting trying to trial kit something when i insisted that they don't need to help me (they will charge if they do).. worst experience on the phone ever..

they're fucked full stop.. oh ye and did i mention.. they're fucked?

Who are you talking about? Do they have the "speed of Jets"?
Or are they a "mate of car"?
Or is it a shortened way of saying Japan.com etc....

***** doesnt help much.
