did you all read the title right!?

yes its true, BLISTC is loosing his bling, and has got himself a decent set of wheels :D

i went with track rims in mind, and i wasnt supposed to buy these, but they were perfect and too hard to pass up! So much so that my loving girlfriend paid for them so now i owe her money lol.

well, here they are!

NISMO LM GT4 - Monoblock Forged & Lightweight

Colour: Bronze

Stud Pattern: 4 x 114.3

Front: 17" x 7.5" + 30

Rear: 17" x 8.5" + 35

Extras: * Center Caps [Bronze]
* Rays Lightweight Aluminium Lock Nuts

Sorry i dont have a photo with them on the car, 2 of them are wrapped in nankangs which are gooooooone, the other 2 are wrapped in goodyear rubber of some sort in very good nick bout 8mm tread left.

Can anyone reccomend the best tyre size for the size of rims i have? I can get a good price on Falken Azeins ST-115 [$170 balanced & fitted] so they will be getting wrapped in that soon.

here is a pic of the rims....

What do you guys think?

Does anyone want to buy some 18" bLiNgErS??? :D :D

no no no no....
you should of got my old rims, there those multi spoke 2 piece enkei's everyone import has when they come over. they are the furthest away from bling possible. much better looking and perfect for the track. i understand that you've made a mistake and im willing to help you out. im even willing to waive any cash adjustment on my side. dont you hate it when you think you've got a good buy but then something else comes along better? im really sympathetic so i look forward to your eager reply. :P

mmm, pretty. An on car shot would be nice when you get one.

Tyre size would be 215/45 and 235/40 if they were mine but you could fit wider tyres if you want, just watch the rolling diameter doesn't change by too much. I have the same size tyres as above on 8's and 9's which are a bit stretched but does the job.

It's a good thing you got the light weight wheel nuts

Dave,

there is a HUGE wight difference between these fully sick chrome lock nuts and the rays ones, i think il will save around another kg in weight they are that heavy these chome ones

Splashman, i will consider your offer [in another lifetime....] sorry dude :D hehehe

they wont be on the car for at least 1-2 months, becasue i need to save up some more pennies and get some rubber on those things. I also need to go buy 20mm bolt on spacers for the front, becasue of the wide guards i am getting, the slip on ones are kind of illegal.........

the only time you will see them on the car is when it will have the new kit on it. the current one doesnt do them justice imo. sorry guys :D

You must have some heavy nuts!

They are about 20g each, as opposed to 40-45g for a conventional nut. So you should only be saving 80-100g per wheel. But hey, it's rolling mass we are talking so any saving has to be good. And besides, you need black nuts.

i dont get that comment? my interior is fairly normal, not much bling at all there. Stock CA18 seats for the win :D

I know i know nismod, but FUCK its been like 10 weeks allready. It is apparently supposed to land yesterday, and then will have to wait to clear customs, should be sent out late next week which means i wont get it until 2 weeks time. :(

i drove my car yesterday havent driven it in a while, on low boost it felt soooo fast :D big change when you go from driving a Diesel Auto Hiace to a Turbocharged Manual nissan :D

FINALLY my car is looking the way I want it to, not the way some crazy 17 yr old dude wanted it. [even though i did buy the car when i was 17 and i liked it at first too lol. i guess style changes, like fasion :D]

ok for all of you, i will disclose what kit i am getting even though alot of you know...

behold, the Origin Labs Streamline Kit

Image

i will apparently have one of the first of this style of bodykit to arrive in our beutiful country.

It is made in japan, BY origin, and not some cheapo mould in a backyard in sydney. Hand laid FRP, more more ridgity and flexability. Becasue they are an original, apparently they are close to a PERFECT fit. very little has to be done, if anything at all!

I have purchased the full kit, as well as the wide front guards.

The car will be resprayed in S15 Yellow. Im getting all these little dings n stuff fixed up that the previous owner had fucked up - this car was an impulse by, all the imperfections flew over my head :( as well as all the shopping trolly dents and car door dents people have put in the car.

I personally like the kit, i think it is a cross bewteen a type x kit and a vertex / gp sports or the like.

What do you think?

Do you think i should piss off the rear wing? leave it on? spray the bonnet and roof black? black mirrors?

im very excited as you can see :D

very nice :) black roof for sure, its like a mandatory thing on 180's lol...

does anyone know where you can get those cf type mirrors? i can't really justify spending $620 on some genuine cf ganadors, even though i love the design to bits :P....
