Some s13's came with HUD from factory. I have it in my car.

You can buy kits for around $300 I think that give you the same effect.

Alternatively you will need the following to swap it into your s13 from another:
a) HUD dashboard (as it has the HUD addon in the corner)
b) HUD cluster (the instrument cluster is digital for speedo on the HUD models)
c) HUD loom for the cluster (because the HUD makes the cluster loom different)

Or you could buy the Defi VSD.

Your cheapest bet is to buy them from one of the many Web based Jap parts importers...Greenline,Nengun,Perfect Run , etc.

Damn thats a nice little gadget :)

Wouldn't too hard to install, similar to an RSM or similar.

All you need to do is tap into the speedo wire and rpm wire etc on the ECU, run the wires up the dash and mount the unit... would take about 30 mins if your a perfectionist :)

I remember looking for this a while ago when I had the Pulsar.

I'd heard that Team Jasma sold the Nissan HUDs too, and they'd hook up to pretty much any modern Nissan engine.

He could have been referring to an aftermarket one of course.
