ok, i hate to go against the flow here, but i really dont like those mufflers

im sure they are fantastic and make ya drift really well or sumthin, but wats the deal with the little hole in side the muffler, looks like a mighty boy muffler in a cannon.

the second ones are a bit better if i had to chose between them

btw im not the biggest cannon fan in the world either altho i have one....

Yes I agree, those reducers inside the pipes ruin the look. Trust DD didnt have them though.

I guess you guys can't read the dimensions of the mufflers on those pages.

the 'little hole in the middle' is actually the bolted in inner silencers.
the actual piping diameters are 60mm in diameter for the dual NA versions, and 76.3(3" basically) for the larger versions.
the bodies are only 100 and 115mm in diameter for the dual mufflers.
with the butt plugs removed, you'd have a 2 1/2" or 3" outlet inside the 4" or 4 5/8" diameter body respectively. as I said before, they'd do stuff all for reducing the volume of the car's exhaust, but would look great, and sound awesome at full noise.

they make a kit for my project car too... might have to get a price quote I think... :)

Justin, look at the pic Redline posted. You can see some sort of 'baffle' tacked in there, perfectly visible with the silencers removed.

Yeh, pretty much all Jap mufflers have something like this inside the barrel, but most are not as visible and ugly.

yeah, true, that's the actual absorbing expansion chamber of the muffler, which is 3" in diameter on the S14 version.

*shrug* not everyone's taste I guess.

I think it's strange they pick a country they don't have a presence in, then pick a magazine, then start to advertise.

If anyone that participates in cruises/other events has this or is getting these mufflers please let me know - I'd be keen to hear their mufflers.

i'm going back to livo' exhaust to have mine changed. i think the lack of angle on the cannon and that extra muffler amidships is enough reason.
