hey all

i have ghey ass ugly rims that came with my car i wanna get rid of em
and replace em.

Here is a link to a pic of my car so you can all get an idea of the rims... http://members.iinet.net.au/~tencab/blistc.jpg

what do you all think of these?

option 1 - Koya Inox-1 + Inox Lip http://www.koyawheels.com/catalogue.html

option 2 - HR Racing 204 http://www.hrracingwheels.com.au/produc ... &part_no=1

id get them in 18"s, i think 19"s r too big for 180's. just want something with a bit of dish or lip :D

right now im leaning to the 1st one more, becasue less people i have seen have em.

your opinions are valued. even other suggestions of rims would be helpful. :D

cheers to all!

-mark

if i had the money gunmetal, trust me, a full widebody kit, and a set of Works VS-KF 10 front and 11 back in 18" would be on the cards :D

yeh i am leaning heavily towards the 1st option

a pic of my car has been added to first post also.

can someone be kind enough to do a photochop maybe?

the first set of five spokes look okay, but the second wheels are awful.
don't put chrome shit on a 180,leave that to the WRXes and hyundai crowd.

my suggestion would be that you start trolling the import wreckers for some nice japanese wheels. a proper set of volks of advans would be far more exclusive and better suited to the car than some cheap chrome things out of taiwan or italy. most likely lighter weight and better quality as well.

Yep or have some imported, but that would obviously cost a bit more. IMO it’s worth it though, if you’re going to go to the trouble of getting new rims, you may as well do it with style.

I think there is someone reading this who should pm you a pic or two of his new rims, I’m sure then you will see the light :P

p.s. if you HAVE to go with koya or HR, go the inox-7's - they are pimp! :P

those kitchen knives are hot Gm !

i chose the first option, the 2nd looked too chromie and i felt it didnt suit the application, well neither choice does imo. I say go some tough jap rims, but its ur ride so yea :D

can afford it :/

can i borrow 6k someone? promise to pay back with 0% interest in 2 yrs :D (i really really want vs-kf)

rims are really something that i dont want to spend $$ on - id rather put it in the engine. just my old ones r on the way out i need new ones. will even buy 2nd hand if someone wants to sell some nice 18" set of 4 to me with or without rubber.

i am considering getting mxfly to get me some SSR Professors though, but that means rims wont come till late this yr.
