Yeah, but they won't do you for the Momo pedals

What if they're also the fashion police? They'd book you for the Momo pedals then.

I've yet to see any Momo accessories that weren't garish. I like how on the Momo site, in their "tuning" section, they sell chrome exhaust tips. Yep, big gains in power are to be made there... :roll

Aren't after-market pedals one of the more common things police like to check? I always used to hear about people being defected all the time for those smooth type pedal covers that were deemed too slippery on wet soles.

do you notice how i wasnt being a smart ass with the officer?

few things to remember...

1. be polite
2. always address the person as "officer"
3. dont be sexist towards male/female police officers
4. when pulled over keep your hands on the steering wheel to show the officer that you are not of any danger
5. dont be a smart-ass at ANY time!!

these basic rules i follow when i get pulled over. most of the time, i get nothing but a breath test, but you cant do anything if a cop is hellbent on defect you.

btw, what are the new breath test things where you talk into a device testing for? i belive the drug detectors are not officialy in nsw yet, currently being trailed in victoria.. is it a new environmentally freidnly breath tester? no more rubbish. or saliva strewn sticks....

sounds like you get hassled a lot BLISTC! i agree with you to never be smart to them. and as long as you are courteous you should be right.

i also invested in a engineers report from greg, well worth it. the feeling of knowing that you have a safety zone (EC) when dealing with the boys in blue is great!

lately ive been getting puller over like every freakin' week...

one time though, the officer said it was for a random RBT and i said ' did i do anything wrong, though?

and he replied

'nah just wanted to have a look mate'

and started asking me about how much power i had etc...

quite funny, they arent as bad as they seem..........

Blistc, have you ever had issues with the FRP front guards? have they noticed them when you've been puller over?

I live in the same area as you Mark, and i have never had a cop pull me over, yes your car is much more loud then mine, drawing attention like a nipple ring at thredbo, but i dont get a whisper of trouble. :)

I think the local police have you on the list of the ten most wanted in FFld :-?

i think they leave me alone now Nismodified

about 20 coppers have past me and not one has done anything. I even went through a round about and a cop came out the other side, perfect opportunity to follow me, but nothing.

I think they have down that my car is engineered now so they are wasting their time :D ahah im a good boy :D also, not doing anything stupid helps :D
