I wanna hook up a "wink" switch to my 180 too so I can wink at other s13's as I drive past. Anyone have any ideas how to do that?

Shouldn't be too hard... would just have to simulate the setup of the lights turning off and shutting down...... but hook it up to a switch for only one light :)

JCKASS.. just do it 'by hand'.. there are some controls next to the headlights.. take the top off and twist them before you drive off. Takes about 2 minutes and looks nice and sleepy :)

So you dont have to turn them back either? Just turn them on and they will go back to normal? :D Cool i was thinking if you changed it you would have to change it back before using them or something  so it wont do any damage or anything just turning them on from that position? :P

Heh cool thanks guys i tried it the sarvo it works :) I wound them back down though havent tried actually turning them on while in this position, but the knob seems to be one that can go forever so it is prob right ( i mean that it will reset back to original when turned on) would still like absolute confirmation of this first? THanx again

when u turn the lights on they flip right up to normal, then when u turn the lights back off, they go back to original (fully down) position. Im telling u, its a headache trying to make the lights sleepy everytime u get in the car.

there is a guy on the nissansilvia.com forums selling pivot head light controlers with instalation instructions for $220.

i most probably will get one.

how hard is it to turn a knob :D jk
for $220 you can spend that on other mods dude.

but then again its pretty cool to have it the sleepy look for better air intake too.

BUT if its raining and your car light cannot go all the way down then your rooted. cold water throught the filter to your white hot turbo .... ???? cannot be good.

just my 2cents.

My car came from Japan with a switch to adjust the lights to any position you like. I can do it with the lights on or off. Unlike other 180's when I turn the lights on the actual lights stay down as if they were off. Looks cool as the light comes through the front bar instead of straight out :8

As for the winking, one of my headlights is not going back down... goes up but doesn't go down, so when I press the switch it looks like I am winking.... the chicks on Chapel St. think it is stupid when I do it to them... they still wave though :) My girlfriend doesn't like it either
(NaUgHtYNaDi you'd know what Chapel is being a Melbourne person)

I Sure Do!!!

i think the head light controller is sweet!.......because my alarm is connected to all my electronic devices in my 180, after i arm my car, the headlights automatically close down (back to normal)....so its an absolute prick getting out and manually making my car sleepy.

My 3 cents worth!!!
