The kits are not make specific, they are direct replacement for the type of globe, H1, H4, etc....
You just need to mount the ballast units somewhere.

Hey lads i know i'm just a Fresh lil ol Monkey on your site but i'd be willing to organise a group buy of HID Kits, I'd be able to do $650 for a kit.
The crystal purple are 6500 kelvins
The crystal white are 7500 kelvins
The crystal blue are 8500 kelvins
If there is a lot of interest in these i would be able to reduce the price.
Say 10+ orders $550 My apologies if this steps on anyones toes.
If my credibility is an issue i have dealt with numerous members of your forum in person.
So i can supply testimonials or allow you to get in contact with these people. If thats required. No names listed as i would ask thier permission prior to listing thier names.
Please i hope this is not seen as a commercial advertisement as i am just a Rookie. Maybe a well connected rookie at that.

Could someone please help? i accidentally snapped one of my HID bulbs! damn delicate buggers they are!!! does anyone know where I can buy replacement HID bulbs from? problem is i bought the kit from overseas. Though the kit does say the following:

We have tested its ballast's compatibility with OEM lamps (Philips, Osram, GE, Matsushita) from 2001 and 6 Korean, Japanese lamps from Jan 2003.

Cheapest way is thru Ebay,
prices here in Aus. are about $100 + a module, on Ebay they are cheaper.
just email one of the people who sell kits thru ebay and ask for the colour you want.

Dosent matter about what connection you have as you can cut and splice your own connection on,,,But you MUST insulate the splice Extremley well.

i managed to win an auction at 360 AU dollars for H1 HID! was a decent kit, the quality was a bit poor which was how i managed to snap the bulb. set of replacement bulbs cost me 180 AU. overall i am pretty happy with it, given the price and decent light it produces.

btw its the X5 HID kit that you may find on ebay

Did you snap the bulb or just the insulated bit on the outside probe.
I managed to snap the outside bit and I know someone else that has done the same thing.
It's just insulation so and everything still works ok.

i actually snapped two. the first one completely broke. the second one has a snap in the insulated bit you are talking about i think. everytime i hit a bump, the beam shakes a little. i guess i can live with it!
