Re: avatars, go to the profile button up the top and scroll right down and put in a link to your avatar.
Becasue of space and bandwidth issues we can't store your avatar on this server so you need to have you avatar on the web already and then link to it.

Yeah I would refer if a maximum of 100 x 100 was used for Avatars, otherise its just too big.
