Brant alarms are really good... www.brant.com.au

They also do the QuickTrak systems if your interested.

Another added benefit is they give SilviaNSW members a discount which is quite decent :)

yeah i would tell ppl that brant are one of the best around... for one they install all the systems themself... so no backyard job type of install and they are well priced... the main thing to look at when buying an alarm is who is installing it..... if its not installed the right way... eg hiding wiring and corrected hookup well than the alarm is very easy to get around....

Yeah and thats one reason why Brant is very good.. they come to you... there team is very good (many of my friends have Brant systems installed in their modified cars).

They use completely black wiring so its really hard to work it all out... (they use labels and remove them as they install the sytem).

Brant also has a very good reputation, they have systems going into STi and Liberty B4 Suburu's as factory.... (wish they did that for Nissan and not Suburu thou :P)

definately agree with the consenus here...

brant are really good.. service is top notch, installs faultless... lots of thought has been put into planning their systems, and it shows in the quality of the finished product...

Oh yeah, this is from first hand experience... got a 3 point passive arm keypad from them... Just wish i had been hnging around SilviaNSW to score the discount earlier...

My new insurance co. has told me I have to get Brant system, so I made an enquiry, and I get a discount because of the insurance co. I am going through, Dawes Underwritting, then on top if that I get a discount for being a SilviaNSW member, cheering. :P

Hey dudes,
I'm new to this forum, but guess what?
I have a Brant alarm too! Young and Cool require you to
have one before they will insure you.

Yeah man, i've probably seen yours around too ( I do a lot of driving).
The colour of my car is factory and it's that hard to describe colour.
Some say it's metallic gold, some say champagne e.t.c. You know the one?
Anyway,i posted a reply to one of your posts in the 180sx section under the CHK-180 bit...it explains a bit more.

Hey Mayhem,

with the quiktrak system are you talking about quicktrak as in http://www.quiktrak.com.au/ or Brant's own tracking?? Cos I saw on their website they had their own tracking coming out soon but was wondering if anyone got one?

I am pretty sure it was the QuickTrak system when I spoke to them last (3 months ago now).

Qik... I think its about $1200 to $1500 + $300 a year monitoring after the first year.

is that including the Brant? They've advertised their Nemesis 2 as including a tracker and being released in 2002.... if the nemesis and tracker together for around $1500 thats an absolute bargain considering quicktrak already costs that much alone

I am not 100%, you would need to ring BRANT, they are very helpful and you will get all the information you need :)
