Yeah if you want them just contact me we have quite a few of them available. I wish i got the 4 speaker set aswell, I have heard that other speakers don't work in the extra outputs is that true??

I heard there was a HUGE plasma screen that went for like $500 aswell.

BTW, what do u prefer when u build computers, AMD or Intel??

yeah, AMD seem to be the best apart from their excessive heat.

BTW, probably a stupid question but your g/fs dad machine does have digital audio out right?

Waste of money really... they are just over rated SB Lives underneath all the fancy connections and Firewire.

If you want a real sound card get a Hercules Fortissimio or somthing, that is what I am going to get eventually when I find the connector for the Bostons :) cause its blue and all my other internals have blue PCB :) and its heaps better.

The system is now home and running nicely :) Especially with the 20" SGI monitor hooked up to it (thanks for the heads up DumHed).

I got the system fully working yesterday and ended up playing GTA3 (Grand Theft Auto 3) all night on it :)

Will get the Boston speakers out from their storage area and set them up tonight....

Ahh... from Penitum II 450 to Athlon 1700XP+ is just such a shock :P

They are second hand..... thats why they are cheap... but from looking at my one there is nothing wrong with them... they are not refresh rate locked and work fine :)

These were from a place in Killara.

they're second hand ex lease monitors from SGI machines.
20" - $300... and as I just found out that's 20" viewable (19.8 ) so it's really a 21" screen.
They use Sony Trinitron tubes.
Max res is meant to be 1600x1200 but apparently they do 1920x1440 or something (!)

Its kind of a once off.. the company bought a whole heap of equipment from FORD and they tested it and are selling it off... Great deal (DumHed pointed it out to me and grabbed one instantly)
