Hey, errr had a quick look about the forum, and couldn't find a welcome section?? :-?

Well anyway, i'm Clive, from the UK (as the name suggests  ) just got my working visa to go over to Australia...!

My current s-body here in UK is a kouki s14, JDM car, and started life as a N/A (SR20DE) but now has a zenki SR20DET engine in which I pulled from a bent car.

Looking to move to the wollongong area and in need of some work to keep me busy for a few months if anyone knows of any fitter jobs... or even tyre fitting just to keep me going!! give me a shout :)

Welcome to the forum, and to Australia!

Tyre shops are always changing staff,so if you rock in off of the street and present yourself well you shouldn't have an issue with getting a start, especially if you have alignment or basic mechanical knowledge already.

Hey Justin,

Yes I have alignment knowledge, I set up my own car using a local garages hunter 4 wheel lazer alignment machine :)

Mechanical experience also, mainly with CNC m/c tools; but obviously working on cars as well :)

Fingers crossed ill be making the big dive next month! pretty worried as I have yet to find a job, and hoping to wing it :/

Welcome mate. Can't go wrong down in Wollongong - just make sure you support the local Rugby League team - the mighty St George Illawarra Dragons!

I'll even lend you one of my spare jerseys if you like :)

(PS, can we get parts from the UK shipped to your address that you can bring with you? hehe)
