Actually, you may have A pillar gauges that do not block line of site and are beneath the top of the steering wheel at its highest adjustment. Mine is, and its engineered. The RTA used to have this data on its website.

Also, pulled off? :-?

I have my gauge on the right hand side of the dash. I believe it is just lower than the wheel at the highest level. But I got told by a cop that because it is on the dash it was a defect :\

Cops just hate us....

my guage is located at the very bottom of the pillar, doesnt even obstruct the windscreen one bit. when i got defected, the cop simply said "regardless of the "below the steering wheel" compliance, it is still NON-STANDARD and hence defectable.

Loose loose situation :)

althouugh he wrote on the defect notice "Guage mounted on dash" when it isn't...

*sigh*
