I decided to give my wheels a clean but i wasn't all that successful, attached is a before and after shot... now as you can see the brake dust has made a permanent home in the corner there (one of many corners actually) and so I'm looking for suggestions on ways to clean it, anything other than painting over it Let this be a lesson for the lazy lol

go down to autoone or repco and get some rim degreaser spray it on nice and plentiful and let it soak for a good 10mins, just keep on layering it on during the 10mins then a sponge with soapy water, and go hard |

I ended up giving jif a go today and it works (thanks to Dale you know who you are)! And as somebody else said would happen, I soon grew tired of scrubbing and scrubbing and decided to just live with it lol I'll end up sand blasting and powder coating them anyways so it'll be perfect then |

Try the Autoglym wheel cleaner for anodized wheels - gets most stuff off including loose melted tyre bits, random oil/fluids and baked-on brake dust. |
