As per the title is there any NSCC members on here I can get in contact with. I'm a member of the sydney datsun club and part of the organising committee for the 2011 nissan/datun nationals (NDN) which will be held in Sydney, around Easter time.

I'm keen to find out if the NSCC is interested in being involved in the 2011 NDN.

PM or post here

Cheers Ben

Wouldn't you contact them directly? there ARE people on here who are members of that club, but from the sounds of it you really need to contact their committee members directly, which would probably be best done on their forum or by email.

Didnt know they had a forum, so I'll try there over the next few days.

Its pretty informal for now so I;d be happy to find anyone who is willing to have a chat about the club in general.

Hi Mate, there's a guy on here with the username 'Phillb' who used to be the NSCC president if i'm not mistaken. I don't know how involved he still is, but i'm sure he can direct you toward someone with more info.

He's got a thread about his Cefiro in the Buildups section...

pm sent 8)

btw for the rest of you guys the next nissan datsun nationals to be held in 2011 will be open to nissan & datsun makes & models. In the past it has focused on datsuns but we are keen to open up the event to include more late model stuff (although we did have a race spec R35 GTR and the berry R34 there on the track this time around).

The event typically involves a trip to the drag strip, a track day, a show & shine and presentation night (piss up).

I have included some pics below from the most recent NDN held in Warwick earlier this year. Apologies for the volume of pics but its worth it 8).

Yeh it was great turn out with some awesome cars but the reality is that datsun 1600's are now 40yrs old and its time to start including more late model stuff.

There is no reason why we couldnt even add events such a drift session to attract more people to the event.

Closer to the event if you would like me to attend a NSCC meeting to discuss the details I'd be happy to.
