yeah, thats pretty standard, you have to do the same with engine swaps. a copy of your last rego papers if you owned the car when it was dereg'd would do it too.

nah its like a thing that says the vehicle complies with the motor vehicle act and shows where it was imported from etc. even though i have a compliance plate they still need this. |

When I got my wifes S13 blueslipped after being out of rego for a while, all they needed me to provide was proof that it had been registered in Australia in the past. This could have included previous rego papers or some type of 3rd party vehicle history check. |
