Hi guys,

New to the forums. Just bought a cheap 180sx to use as my daily and am looking for a good reliable workshop to do some work on it. I don't want to be spending big dollars on this car since I only paid 8 grand for it.

Currently looking for a good place to chuck a new turbo, dump/front pipe on it at a reasonable price.

I am in the Hills area but anywhere in Sydney is fine, please PM me your recommendations!

Thanks in advance :)

Well, there is a member on this forum who runs a mobile business (ie. he will come to you).

www.enginewhisperer.com

Highly recommended, he knows his stuff, most members on here can vouch for his expertise too.

He has done the fuel pump on my car, changed the CAS, the camshaft, a heap of other stuff, and he is doing my manual conversion soon.

His rates are excellent.

No, you need to not be a nub for the fuel pump. Besides, he had to do soldering and shit because the little solenoid thingy was farked.

Hi all ,
rehashing an old thread here i know but for good reason .
I have just moved from brisbane to sydney and am in need of getting some work done on my s13 such as electrical issues , major servicing , need a rwc to get nsw rego . fitting of replacement trubo , car has been off the road for over a year . I have been doing some research into workshops in the sydney area and have found that the tune house in marrickville seem to do excellent work and are professional . Would like to hear any other opinions on this matter and if any other workshops are worth checking into .
thanks guys much appreciated .

Which tune house in marrickville are you talking about?
The repco one near marrickville road??
I would suggest buckley st autoelectrician in marrickville
They are located in buckley st just about 5 mins from sydenham station
They are great and don't charge an arm and a leg
