try this http://chat.pacific.net.sg/cgi-bin/javairc.pl you will have a java popup on your screen type in your nickname that you would like to us in this channel hit connect... than the chat will connect and open up two channels called #livechat and #pacific ok so close them and in the main window where it says on the top your nickname you have entered before and +vin ... in there type this /join #silviansw you will than join the chat channel and there you can chat... its as easy as that... or you could just download the real software http://www.mirc.com is one that most ppl use on the net.... but the java is easy for the start |

Download that Mirc program open it, then type /server irc.austnet.org after it connects, type /j silviansw i probly made it even worse and complicated things further aye?
